Nick Vujicic

The first time i saw him was in a newspaper. There was just a picture of him smiling without no limbs. The confidence and charm i saw in him was unbelievable. Then i just forgot about him until a few days ago. I was checking out videos on Youtube when i stumbled upon this video by Oprah's channel Own. They showed some pictures of him and his story growing up. You can watch that video here. So i was once again reminded of him. The video was amazing. So i thought i would check a few of his videos. And once you start listening carefully to what he has to say you'll cry your heart out. I mean the outlook he has on life and his sheer faith in God is exceptional.

Sometimes (in fact most) we forget our blessings and what we do have. We focus so much of  energy on what we don't have that it sucks the life out of us. But we forget the fact that we have the power to make a change in our life and maybe inspire someone to make a change in there life like Nick does.We have to have gratitude and faith in something bigger than us. Be it anything. Believing is what matters.
As Nick said in one of his videos that it doesn't matter how you start. What matters is how you finish. :)


PS : I changed my blog name because i couldn't identify with the old one now so The Pessimistic Optimist is now The Practical Optimist. That's more like me. :)
